We teamed up with Prudential RideLondon 2016 to build a 360° Bullet Time cycling experience and GIF photo booths at the Excel Exhibition Centre London. Being a keen bunch of cyclists here in the Say Fromage office, we were super excited about this project.
RideLondon is a world-class festival of cycling, taking a cue from the London Marathon, amateur cyclists also participate in the Prudential RideLondon Surrey 100 – a 100 mile challenge along the professionals, with the added bonus of raising money for good causes. Also for the first time this year (2016), the event will also feature the Surrey 46, a 46-mile sportive created specifically for newer and younger cyclists.
For this Project we wanted to build a wonderful (if we do say so ourselves) bespoke bullet time rig of 32 cameras set in a circle on a 45° angle, in which cyclists could experience themselves photographically in 360° as a part of the festival. These images could then be exported and converted into a MP4 video to share social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, from our touch screen sharing station using the #ridelondon.

We also had two touch screen Gif booths operating to capture peoples best selfies that could then be printed out as a momento of the day and also shared directly to social media sites, using the #ridelondon.
