With the weather as nice as it’s been, it got us thinking about the best thing to do in such weather: hang out in a massive group of sweaty, dirty people. You know, a music festival! Whilst some people in the studio cringe at the idea (ahem, the person writing this, ahem), most of us are looking forward to hitting up at least one festival this summer. We spent some time reminiscing today about some of our past festival projects. If you’d like to imagine us all gathered around a computer going “awwwww great times” at every photo that popped up, that would be alright. We wish, we wish. Instead, we’ve put together our four favourite festival projects below. Enjoy!
Quite possibly the only thing to make the New Look Wireless and Reading Festivals better is the addition of bullet time photography. Right? Of course. We were asked by Live Nation Experiential to put something fantastic together to promote Paco Rabanne’s Black XS. You can read more about it here!
The House Festival is maybe less music festival and more posh “let’s grab a lobster for lunch, shall we?” spectacle but if you have the chance to go, it does look like piles of fun. We were there in 2014 with a lush, summery booth. Also, more festivals should have lobster, just saying.
When BBC Radio 1 asked us to put together a booth celebrating music at Reading Festival in 2014 we were all over it. This background might be one of our favourites (raaainnnbbowwwwwwwwww) but most importantly, we’re happy that Sub-Zero and Scorpion captured their eternal love in our booth.
Benefit really went above and beyond with their activation at 2012 Bestival and we were thrilled to be a part of their Glamizonia Pyramid. Look at it. LOOK AT IT. You could go for a makeover, play Jenga, and–of course–get your photo taken in our photo booth. The theme of Bestival that year was “wildlife,” so now the face paint makes sense, right?
